Chang Mai Region - Trek

Join us for a real remote and eco trekking experience.

 

Details:

Day 1: You will be met by one of our experienced representatives at the airport or in the centre of Chang- Mai. By truck your group (Maximum 12 people) will be driven 2.5 hours to the village of Wieng Haeng.

Lunch is included and will be served on arrival.

The Trek begins with a 4 hour moderate walk through the nature jungle and hilltops to the village of Lisu and on to a beautiful Karen village where we will be having Dinner (dinner) and sleep overnight in village shelter or hut.

 

Day 2:  After breakfast (included) we will commence a full day of relaxing trekking with the group. We will leave the village in the morning and trek for 7 hours in total. Along the way we will have rest stops, Lunch (included) and visit the Lahu and Lisu Tribal villages.

Dinner (included) and in beautiful local village.

Day 03: Rise and shine to another day of trekking. Breakfast (included) is served and then we set off again through beautiful photogenic scenery, villages and poppy fields. Lunch will be provided and we will also stop for a refreshing dip in a waterfall. After approximately 6 hours we reach our next rest stop. Where dinner (Included) will be served and a good nights rest will be had by all.

 

Day 04: The last day of the trek after a filling breakfast (included) we end the trek with a 3 hour walk where we will then be met by a truck, that will escort you back to the airport, or into Chang- Mai centre if you decide to extend your stay for a couple of days and explore the town.

Trek includes:

·       Transfers to and from Chiang Mai airport

·       2 guides with 20 years jungle trekking experience

·       3 meals per day

·       Additional guides and cooks at over night locations

·       3 nights accomodation in hill tribe villages

·       1 night in forest bamboo camp
